One person was injured today in a rollover crash near Desert Center, a county fire department spokeswoman said.
The crash was reported about 11:45 a.m. on westbound Interstate 10 west of Eagle Mountain Road.
An occupant of the vehicle had to be cut out out of the wreckage and was airlifted to a local hospital, Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson said.
Westbound lanes of I-10 were temporarily closed so the helicopter could land, according to the California Highway Patrol.
